BioResource Centre - London Barts

The Barts BioResource is part of national work to find new ways to diagnose, treat and prevent disease.

We aim to provide all our patients with the opportunity to participate in research locally via the NIHR BioResource Centre Barts and nationally via the NIHR BioResource.

Serving around 6 million patients in North and East London from diverse ethnic backgrounds, we’re committed to making a difference to our patients’ lives and the communities they live-in.

Patient and Public involvement/engagement is key to the success of such key projects. The NIHR Patient Research Experience Survey 2019 demonstrated very positive feedback as to the overall impact of the NIHR BioResource Centre Barts and NIHR BioResource.
