This study will attempt to find a cause for long-COVID19, which is a disorder when symptoms after COVID persist for more than 3 months. Little is known about the cause of long-COVID19 and there is currently no blood test for this condition. There are many theories as to why symptoms persist for so long in some patients including disruption of the blood vessels and immune system, which can be looked at using ‘biomarkers’ (signals detectable in the blood). This study will collect blood and test for abnormalities which can help understand the causes of long-COVID19 and how best to treat it. |
