[The NIHR BioResource contributes to a major national study of the long-term impacts of COVID-19, through the UK Longitudinal Linkage Collaboration.]
This project will generate a harmonised dataset of socio-demographic measures for inclusion as a research resource on the UK Longitudinal Linkage Collaboration (UK LLC) platform. The project aims to facilitate COVID-19 research by identifying and, where possible, addressing differences in how participant characteristics are measured by the longitudinal population studies who are contributing data to the platform, and in so doing, assist researchers who want to use data from different studies to explore cross-study differences or pool data together to achieve larger sample sizes and further the insights they can attain.
