The GENEVAX study will give healthy volunteers yellow fever and influenza vaccinations in order to explore variation in the immune response between individuals, by studying patterns of active genes in the blood. The knowledge gained will contribute to the development of novel treatments and personalised medical management, and will be relevant to many settings including vaccinations, autoimmune diseases, infections and cancer.
Organisation: This study is organised by Professor Ken Smith at the Department of Medicine in the Cambridge Institute for Medical Research situated on the Addenbrooke’s hospital site in Cambridge.
