Best ethical and legal practice will be followed to ensure all information collected will be handled in confidence.

When you are recruited your sample and health assessment information will be labelled with a unique identifier when it arrives at our laboratory.

Information from these tests will only be used in research and for improvements in health care and you will not be identified in any publication or report.

In the future we may contact you to ask whether you would like to take part in further studies. You will be provided with full information regarding each of these studies and will be free to decide whether or not to participate.

Whether you decide to join or not, your decision will not affect your healthcare in any way and you are free to withdraw at anytime without having to give a reason.
